DevOps Engineer in Test (Remote - NL)

We are an International Tech Scale-Up, based in Hilversum, the Netherlands, that is working on a next-generation observability product with an international team. We are on a mission to ease the complexities of running and evolving the digital enterprise and offer a platform that acts as the central nervous system of large-scale complex IT environments.

We are building the best Observability product that helps prevent outages. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer in Test with enthusiasm for observability and the cloud-native space to join us on this journey.

What you will do:

As a DevOps Engineer in Test at StackState, you will do much more than just coding! You will be an important part of the development team and help us deliver a product with both high technical and functional quality. Great communication skills are important as you will be working with developers, product owners, and other internal stakeholders. Your main responsibility is to ensure nothing goes untested and that all changes fulfill the functional and technical requirements, with a focus on automation.

On a daily basis, you’ll be writing automated tests, identifying risks, and supporting the development team and our product organisation with various DevOps and testing-related tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Automate test environment setup

  • Development of automated tests

  • Troubleshooting incoming bugs and quality issues

  • Be a quality gatekeeper

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field.

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in DevOps field

  • Experience in Linux command-line and troubleshooting

  • Experience working on public cloud (AWS or GCP or Azure)

  • Experience working with Python / git / Docker / Kubernetes / Terraform / CI/CD pipelines

  • Experience in QA and test automation a plus

  • Familiar with Agile/Scrum development environments like JIRA.

  • Strong teamwork skills.

  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
