Product Manager

At StackState we are on a mission to develop the best Observability product for SRE’s and DevOps engineers. Our main goal is to deliver a great automation experience to enhance their observability activities. 

To accelerate our growth and develop our product even further we are looking for an experienced Product Manager with enthusiasm for observability and the cloud native space. As Product Manager, you will be a key player in product strategy, helping set our vision and bringing it alive.

We are an international tech “scale-up” with an office in the Netherlands and soon in Boston (US) and with remote workers in many locations all around the globe.  

Your responsibilities: 

  • Be the person that understands the problems customers face, works with the teams to craft a solution, and brings the rare ability to articulate the unique value (not just functionality) of each feature

  • Translate business goals into product features

  • Work with UX and architecture to detail out potential solutions to solve defined market problems

  • Work with Engineering Leads to refine those solutions and get them ready for implementation

  • Provide input for engineering teams to continuously develop a new version of our offering

  • Provide input and collaborate with Product Marketing to bring our product to the market and create clear and compelling documentation and product collateral

This is what will help you be successful: 

  • You are an experienced Product Manager in the DevOps or B2B developer solutions space, the product you owned was preferably a Saas product

  • You understand user needs and are able to represent them, and you are experience in customer and competitive research

  • You have mastered the skills to create and drive the product vision

  • You have the ability to build a compelling business case for new opportunities

  • You have experience in creating, prioritising and communicating roadmaps

  • You are not afraid to open to hood and see what's underneath

  • You have experience with various Product Management techniques such as user story mapping, Lean canvas and Kano Model and more. Pragmatic Marketing (or similar) training is strongly preferred
